Trend watch: Flower earring (Summer 2011)

Spotted: Amazingly cute statement flower earring on Gigi Ravelli (a Dutch actress, who plays Lorena on the Dutch soap Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden or GTST). I don’t watch the show, but my sister does. I already saw someone at work with one flower earring and now one of my friends, Lisanne said she wants one for her Birthday.

They want to set a trend by just wearing one big extravagant earring, but of course you can wear two if you want to. Dutch actresses Gigi Ravelli and Marly van der Velden have an official site where you can order them: http://www.kuisemeisjes.nl/. There are probably more webshops where you can order them. If you think they’re too expensive and you’re creative you can also quite easily make them youself.

I definitely want give this trend a try, but I can’t decide yet on just buying one or making one myself. I’ll let you know what I did when I made up my mind ;-)
