MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick, Spring 2011
Gloss is good, but there’s nothing quite as wonderfully, worldly cinematic as a Lipstick – and they’re coming back! We’ve updated formulas to make it all plausible. Sheen Supreme is the combination of the strong, sensually saturated colour of, say, Tilda Swinton’s I Am Love Milanese Lipstick, leavened with the light feel and clear vibrancy, the see-through sheen of a modern New York City Girl Gloss. Imagine no muddy undertones, gliding in pearl or creme finish, moisturizing with no sticky/tacky feel. It’s a new medium, with M∙A∙C in the lead. This is retro/modern – and devastatingly chic.

These will become part of the regular line. The price for The Netherlands is still unknown but I will update this post as soon as I find out more. Are you interested in these lipsticks? As a lipstick-lover it caught my attention, but I want to wait for swatches before I decide to buy one. I think the promo image is pretty cool. I’ve always wanted to do that, drawing with a lipstick on a mirror. I wouldn’t use a MAC lipstick for that though. Anyone else also bothered by the models chipped nails?

MAC Viva Glam Gaga II 2011
This year Lady Gaga will again be the spokesperson for MAC Viva Glam. Last year she had to share the honour with Cyndi Lauper but this year she will do it all alone. Last year’s Viva Glam Gaga was a bubblegum pink and this year is the opposite of that, Viva Glam Gaga II is a beautiful nude. A great thing about MAC Viva Glam is that all proceeds go to the MAC Aids Fund.
Launch date
USA: February 17th, 2011
Nederland: 4 maart 2011
Viva Glam Gaga II lipstick $14.50 €17,50

Viva Glam Gaga II lipglass $14.50 €17,00
I own two Viva Glam products, the Viva Glam Cyndi lipstick and the Viva Glam Cyndi lipglass, they make the perfect everyday appropriate red lip. And I’m thinking of buying this one if it’s the right nude for me. I can’t wait for the swatches! By the way, doesn't Lady Gaga look like an Angel in the promo picture? I think it's a beauiful picture! Do you have any Viva Glam products? Which one(s)? Do you love them? Are you thinking of buying this one? Why (not)? Please let me know in the comments.

Kelly's January Favourites 2011:
January is over, so it’s time for favourites. This is a list of products I’ve discovered in January or products I’ve used a lot in January, I also added some non-beauty favourites.
Eyeshadows: Urban Decay Naked Palette
Well what’s there to say about this palette. It’s amazing! You’ve got all the colours you need for a neutral daytime look or a smokey night-time look.
Review: http://things4her.blogspot.com/2011/01/review-urban-decay-naked-palette.html
Lipstick: MAC Plumful
Love this colour, a purple-plum with a lustre finish so it’s school and work appropriate.
Lipgloss: MAC Sin-tillation (Cham Pale collection)
The perfect gloss with a lot of shimmer, can be worn on its own or over a lipstick or lipliner to make your look more fabulous. Looks really great in combination with MAC Plumfull lipstick.

Blush: MAC Instant Chic
A perfect coral blush for everyday use.
Review: http://things4her.blogspot.com/2011/01/blast-from-beauty-past-mac-instant-chic.html
Eyeliner: MAC Blacktrack Fluidline
I can’t apply liquid eyeliner, but gel liner is a piece of cake for me. Funny thing is most people have it the other way around. I love MAC Blacktrack Fluidline, because it’s ultra black and stays on all day.
Nail Polish: OPI Diva of Geneva
This month was a purple month I guess, my favourite lipstick is purple and so is my favourite nail polish. OPI’s Diva of Geneva is perfect with this still cold weather because it’s not too bright and summer-ish but it still is a fun colour.
NOTD + review: http://things4her.blogspot.com/2011/01/notd-opi-diva-of-geneva.html
Perfume: Vera Wang Glam Princess
Just the packaging already looks so glamorous, it’s smell great but you have to like strong scents.
Youtuber: http://www.youtube.com/user/lette76
Check out this amazing Retro Make-up Tutorial by Colette, after watching this I immediately looked on her channel for more amazing looks and subscribed to her channel.
TV-show: Hellcats
I already watch too many tv-shows but I came across this promo on Youtube and got curious. I started watching and got addicted. Anyone else agrees with me that brown hair looks amazing on Ashley Tisdale?
Song: Fefe Dobson – Stuttering
I heard this song on Hellcats episode 109: Finish What We Started, I just had to know who it was and I’ve been listening to it ever since almost every day. It has such powerful lyrics and a nice beat. The clip is unfortunately not what I expected, in my opinion it doesn’t really match the lyrics. Do you agree?
Well these are my favourites for January, what are your favourites? Got any questions or requests for reviews? Please let me know in the comments below!

NYX Round Lipstick review in Thalia and Honey
Today i'm going to do a review about the well-known lipsticks of NYX in the shades Thalia 529 and Honey 590.
I heard a lot about the lipsticks and read many reviews, so finally I decided to give them a try myself.. As they don't sell NYX cosmetics in the Netherlands I had to buy them on the internet via the dutch webshop http://www.boozyshop.com/ (which i'm very satisfied about, quick delivery and easy payment).
They both are very pigmented, I mainly noticed that when I use nude colours, I always have to apply a little bit foundation on my lips to make the colour look good.
Now i didn't even need to apply foundation!
This is how the colours look on my lips:

So back to the review:
I simply LOVE these lipsticks and colours! I was still looking for the perfect nude lipstick and I think Honey is perfect! It's doesn't make your lips look pale as concealer or foundation does. It has this slightly peachy / yellowish undertone that makes the colour look perfect on your lips.
Thalia is a light purple/pink colour that looks great when you're tanned and keep the rest of your face simple. So no heavy eye-makeup or whatsoever. They both are very pigmented, I mainly noticed that when I use nude colours, I always have to apply a little bit foundation on my lips to make the colour look good.
Now i didn't even need to apply foundation!
This is how the colours look on my lips:
Honey Thalia
(As you can see my lips are very dry during winter time, sorry for that!)
So shortly i'm very happy with the NYX lipsticks and i'm definitely going to try more colours and products from this brand.
For all the Dutch people: If you want to order anything from NYX cosmetics, i recommend ordering from http://www.boozyshop.com/
xox Liza.
